Africa: Black an White

1. On your blog post your reactions to the power point...
I'm not usually a big fan of photography of animals, but I actually really liked these photos. It makes me wonder if he set these photos up or if he just went out into the wild and found the animals in those positions. I love them even more in black and white. The angles are perfect and he used so many photo compositions.

2. What was your favorite photo? Describe it and tell me why its your favorite
Photo 24. Its a picture of a beautiful tree, and just a single giraffe looking out at the horizon.

3. Look up the photographer –
a.     What kind of camera did he use? Cannon 85 mm.
b.     What is his reason for taking the photos? He is trying to aware people about the elephants that are being killed.
c.     What is his hope by taking these types of photos? Hope that people will have some compassion for these elephants.
d.     Find something he has to say about Africa and post the quote on your blog "You want to believe that these beautiful are still wandering the African plains. But in a very short space of time, most of the large tusk elephants featured in my books have been killed by poachers and their ivory."

4. Find one of his photos that you really like and post it on your blog.
